Khalid AL-ASKARI, also known as Ali Askari, was a Kurdish politician, military leader, and revolutionary. He was born in Iraq in 1936 and died in 1978. He was a prominent leader in Iraqi Kurdistan and his political party was the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
