Biography:

Kim Perrier was born in Edmonton, Canada, in 1953. He grew into an awareness of nature at a young age while living in remote areas of Western Canada. The Perrier family moved to Vancouver when he was fourteen, where the cedar forests and coastal inlets became a place of wonder and discovery. Kim's future was shaped by wilderness, creativity, and extreme sports such as rock climbing, snow skiing, and long-distance swimming. His awareness and respect for First Nation People have always been a deep passion, attributable to their mother Maxine and the family's long heritage in Canada dating back to 1660. Kim believes that the source of spirit and connections resides within our DNA. He has created various sculptures inspired by his experiences and encounters with nature.
