Biography:
Koji Kinutani is a Japanese painter born in Nara, Japan. He studied at the Oil Painting Department at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and later abroad at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. In 1974, he became a representative western-style painter in Japan and the leading authority of contemporary fresco painting. His artwork is characterized by brilliant colors, enthusiasm, and living delights. Kinutani has received numerous awards, including the Yasui Prize, and his work has been exhibited globally.
