Krastyu Zahariev was a prominent iconographer from Tryavna, Bulgaria. He belonged to the renowned Zahariev family of artists and was one of its most talented representatives. In his early years, he trained under his father, Zahariy the Elder. Krastyu Zahariev's works are characterized by their rich colors, intricate details, and deep spirituality. He is best known for his contributions to the Tryavna School of iconography, which flourished during the Bulgarian National Revival period in the 19th century.
