Krzysztof Jan Cander was a Polish artist and pedagogue born in Ostrowie Wielkopolskim, Poland in 1936. He passed away in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 2006. Cander was a painter and a professor of fine arts. He began his career in the 1960s and was known for his abstract and expressionist works.
