Lee Gi-il, also known as Lee Gi-kwang, is a South Korean actor, singer, writer, dancer, and model born on April 17, 1982, in Busan, South Korea. He gained recognition for his role as Gong-il in the critically acclaimed film 'The King and the Clown' (2005) and has since diversified into various genres, including historical dramas and action thrillers. His work has gained popularity overseas, particularly in Asia, establishing him as a top Hallyu star. Lee is also known for his skills in jiu-jitsu, hapkido, and the traditional Korean martial art of taekkyeon, as well as being a black belt in Taekwondo.
