Lenora de Barros is a Brazilian artist and poet born in São Paulo in 1953. She studied linguistics at the University of São Paulo before establishing her artistic practice during the 1970s. De Barros is known for her exploration of language through various media, including video, performance, photography, and installation. Her early work was influenced by concrete poetry, particularly the Noigandres group, and incorporated techniques from pop art, body art, and conceptual art.
