Linda Brescia

Biography:

Linda Brescia is a Western Sydney-based artist who investigates the banalities and complexities of everyday life experiences and rituals through painting, photography, sculpture and performance. Her practice explores dynamics around visibility and invisibility, particularly in relation to domestic labor and the experiences of women. Brescia has exhibited widely in Australia and internationally, and her work is held in numerous public and private collections. She is also a lecturer in fine arts at the University of Western Sydney.
