Biography:
Lorenzo Aili, also known as Lorenzo Ayli, was an Italian wood sculptor, sculptor, carver, marquetry inlayer, and terra cotta sculptor. He was born in Reggio Emilia, Italy around 1657 and died in Parma, Italy. He is known for his work in the Baroque style and created the wooden statue Madonna Addolorata in the chapel to the left of the main altar in San Giacomo, Soragna.
