Biography:

Lyubomir Dalchev was a Bulgarian painter and sculptor, one of the most significant artists in the field of plastic arts. He was born on December 27, 1902 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Dalchev studied at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria and later at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, France. He was a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the International Association of Art. Dalchev's works are characterized by strong, full-of-life figures, often expressive and dramatic. He was known for his use of bronze and his unique style, which combined elements of expressionism and realism. Dalchev passed away in 2002.
