Ludwig Felix De Gloss, also known as Lewis Felix D'Gloss, was a German-born Captain of the Bombay Engineers who served as the commandant of Surat Castle. He was identified on a map of Surat, Gujarat, India, where he was charged with restoring and retrofitting the Castle. De Gloss was a highly competent German military engineer in the service of the Anglo-Indian army. He died in 1777.
