Biography:

Magali Reus is a Dutch artist born in 1981 in The Hague, The Netherlands. She currently lives and works in London. Reus is known for her sculptural works that often begin with familiar existing objects, which she transforms using a sensuous material intelligence and precise compositional grammar. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, including at the South London Gallery, the LAM museum in the Netherlands, and the Kunstmuseum St.Gallen in Switzerland.
