Maggy Rouff, also known as Maggy Anna de Wagner, was a French fashion designer of Belgian origin. She was born in Vienne, Austria in 1896 and died in Cannes, France in 1971. Rouff began her career working for the fashion house Drécoll, where her parents were the directors. In 1929, she opened her own fashion house, Maggy Rouff, in Paris. She was known for her understated sportswear designs at the beginning of her career, and later for the feminine detailing in her garments such as ruffles, shirring, and the bias cut. Rouff was also known for her work in the film industry, serving as a costume designer for over a dozen films between 1938 and 1961. She retired in 1948 and her daughter, Anne-Marie Besançon de Wagner, took over the business. The house closed in 1965.
