Marcel Wanders is a Dutch designer and art director born on July 2, 1963, in Boxtel, Netherlands. He is the founder of the Marcel Wanders studio in Amsterdam, where he designs architectural, interior, and industrial projects. Wanders is best known for his innovative and whimsical designs, which often incorporate unexpected materials and forms. He has worked with numerous prestigious brands, including Alessi, B&B Italia, Bisazza, Cappellini, Droog, Flos, KLM, and Moooi, which he co-founded with Casper Vissers in 2001. Wanders's work is included in the collections of museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
