Biography:

Maria Kotsoni is a Greek Cypriot designer jeweller and micro-sculptor, born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1968. She holds a BA Hons degree in 3-D Design-Jewellery from Central Saint Martins, London. Maria founded her eponymous brand in 2016 and established her workshop|showroom in Nicosia, where she is officially based. She has exhibited her work in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Europe and New York. Maria draws inspiration from nature, archaeology, philosophy, travel, and the modern world. Her unique approach to volume and high aesthetics make her pieces stand out and impress. Each collection is distinctly unique and original, reflecting her multilingual ability and ceaselessly inventive spirit.
