Biography:
Mauno Mannelin was a Finnish photographer. He worked as a photographer for over five decades, starting from 1929 until the late 1980s. He specialized in industrial photography as early as the 1930s. Mauno Mannelin was one of the pioneers of Suomen teollisuuskuvauksen (Finnish industrial photography). He used magnesium powder to create his photographs. His work includes documenting the development of forestry and logging, particularly in the Oulu region.
