Biography:

Maya Barkai is a photographer based in New York City. She specializes in still life, product, and food images. Barkai received her B.F.A. in photography from the School of Visual Arts. Her work uses color, texture, and lighting to create unique and memorable moments. She is the creator of the Walking Men project, a series of public art installations featuring pedestrian traffic icons from around the world.
