Biography:
Meredith Rae Lyons is an award-winning author of Paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy. She was born and raised in the New Orleans area and holds two degrees from Louisiana State University in Theatre and Mass Communication. After graduating, she moved to Chicago to pursue theatre, where she studied acting, martial arts, and fitness. She transitioned into fiction writing before leaving Chicago after studying at The Writer’s Loft. Lyons started writing at a young age and wrote her first novel at thirteen. She has written seven novels, all with a fantasy or speculative bent. Her debut novel Ghost Tamer was released on September 19, 2023, and is an Amazon Editors’ Pick, an IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award Gold Winner for Best SciFi Fantasy, an IPPY Award Gold Winner for Best First Book, and a Silver Falcion Award Winner for Best Supernatural and Best Book of 2023. She also narrates short stories with Onyx Publications.
