Michael Amendolia

Biography:

Based in Sydney, Australian photographer Michael Amendolia has 27 years experience working for Australian and international magazines, newspapers and companies. His editorial clients have included Stern, Der Spiegel, and Forbes, among others. Michael received recognition at the World Press Photo Awards in the categories of Science and Technology, and the Environment in 1999, 2001 and 2003. Through his photographs, Amendolia has been able to share the importance of several charities' work, including sight restoration. He has also exhibited his work in various exhibitions, such as 'Through the Lens – 25 Years of Sight Restoration'. Amendolia is a specialist in photographing people and endeavours to make all his portraits of people with a sense of dignity.
