Biography:

Middleton Fireclay Works was a British company that produced firebricks and other ceramic products. It was part of the Leeds Fireclay Company, situated at Middleton Broom Colliery near Leeds. The company manufactured bricks in the 1920s to build the Middleton housing estate. They also created a variety of pottery items such as ashtrays.
