Biography:

Mona Chalabi is a British data journalist, illustrator, and writer of Iraqi descent. She received the Pulitzer Prize for Illustrated Reporting and Commentary in 2023 for her work on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' wealth and economic power. Chalabi was also nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2017 and won the 2020 Shorty Award for Best Journalist in Social Media. She has published with The New York Times and The Guardian, and appeared as a statistician on the TV show The Fix.
