N.V. Nam, also known as Lê Nam, is a Vietnamese-born Australian writer. He was born in Vietnam in 1978 and moved to Australia with his parents as a young child. He is best known for his book 'The Boat', a collection of short stories that won the Dylan Thomas Prize. His stories have been published in various places including Best Australian Stories 2007, Best New American Voices, and Zoetrope: All-Story. He was named GQ Korea’s Man of the Year and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia.
