Biography:

Natan Dvir is an Israeli photographer who focuses on the human aspects of cultural, social, and political issues. He was born in Nahariya, Israel in 1972 and received his MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Dvir has received several awards for his work, including the ICP Infinity Award for Documentary and Photojournalism, the PDN Photo Annual, and the New York Photography Award. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including the International Center of Photography in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, and the Ben Uri Gallery in London. Dvir is also an educator and has taught at several institutions, including the International Center of Photography, the School of Visual Arts, and the New School in New York.
