Biography:

Ni Youyu is a Chinese artist born in 1984 in Ganzhou, China. He currently lives and works in Shanghai. He studied Chinese painting at Shanghai University College of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 2007. Ni Youyu's work often creates a spatial and temporal illusion, making it difficult for outsiders to determine its age. His art explores the relationship between man, time, space, and nature. Ni Youyu is also a curator.
