Biography:

Inka Nieminen is a Finnish sculptor born in Turku, Finland in 1971. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki, obtaining a Master's degree in fine arts in 1999. Nieminen's work often explores the relationship between the human body and its environment, using a variety of materials including plastic, metal, and found objects. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums throughout Finland and internationally, and has received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to the field of sculpture. Nieminen currently lives and works in Helsinki.
