Biography:

Nikolay Sergeevich Sazhin is a former world champion of chess boxing. He was born in Krasnoyarsk, Russia in 1988. Sazhin has an Elo rating of 1911 and an overall record of 49-13-0. He is known by the aliases 'The Siberian Express' and 'The Chairman'. Sazhin won the world championship from Frank Stoldt in 2008 and defended his title in London in 2012 against Andy Costello. The World Chessboxing Association (WCBA) sanctioned Sazhin as the current world champion at double weight divisions of Light heavyweight and Heavyweight.
