Not Vital is a Swiss artist born in 1948 in Prättigau, Switzerland. He is known for his multidisciplinary practice, which includes sculpture, painting, architecture, and photography. Vital's work often explores the relationship between nature and culture, and he is particularly interested in the way that materials and forms can evoke a sense of place. He has exhibited his work internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, the Documenta exhibition in Kassel, Germany, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
