Biography:

Noriko Masui is a Japanese artist, best known for her quilt work. She was born in Tokorozawa, Japan. One of her most famous pieces is 'A Mandala of Flowers', created in 1997. Masui's work is traditional in structure, often featuring checkerboards that lead the eye around the circle. She has exhibited her work at the National Quilt Museum and the Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas.
