Biography:

Oh You Kyeong is a Korean artist born in 1979. She lives and works in South Korea. After studying in Giuseppe Penone’s studio, she graduated in 2008 from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Oh You Kyeong's work focuses on what's invisible yet real, often using everyday materials that are overlooked or abandoned. She aims to have spectators perceive these objects as having a function different from their original use through her artistic intervention.
