Biography:

Olaf Metzel is a German sculptor and object artist born in Berlin in 1952. He studied at the Freie Universität and the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. Since 1990, he has been a professor of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Galerie Klüser has been representing him since 1998. His works often address socio-political events and issues.
