Biography:

Olivier Gourvil is a French artist born in Paris in 1952. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris and the Université Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His works are part of several collections, including the Fonds national d'art contemporain de Paris, the Fonds régional d'art contemporain Bretagne et Limousin, and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Gourvil has been in residence at various art centers around the world, including Berlin, Rotterdam, Marseille, New York, and Seoul. He has also exhibited his work internationally and has published several monographs on his work.
