Oyerinde Olotu is a Nigerian Postwar & Contemporary painter, born in 1959 in Ifon, Ondo state, Nigeria. He obtained a HND from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. Olotu is famous for his landscape paintings, often rendering places and people of old on canvas in black and white monochromes to create the ambiance of the past. He started his artistic career in the advertising trade and spent several years working in this field before dedicating himself fully to painting. Olotu's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 1,155 USD to 13,407 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork.
