Biography:

Pak Sheung Chuen is a Hong Kong artist born in Fujian, China in 1977. He is known for his interdisciplinary work that spans performance, photography, installation, and sculpture, often focusing on the absurdity of everyday life. Pak represented Hong Kong at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009 with a solo exhibition titled 'Harbour, Hong Kong, Alienated Cities and Dreams'. He obtained his BA in Fine Arts and Theology from Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2002.
