Pan Xirou is a Chinese artist born in 1935. He is known for his sculptures, particularly the work 'Sowing' (播种). He is considered active and living in China. His work is simple, sincere, intimate, unrestrained, and free from vulgarity, often depicting Jiangnan farmers. His sculptures have been presented in auctions, with a total of 4 works sold, mainly in the category of Sculpture-Volume. He has also been involved in the creation of a sculpture reflecting Deng Xiaoping's vision of 'one country, two systems'.
