Biography:

Paolo Cotani is an Italian painter and artist. He was born in Rome on 5 November 1940. After graduating from Art School he went to Paris in 1959 to study tapestry and stained glass at the Académie des Arts Décoratifs. He spent the years 1964 to 1970 in London, where he came into contact with the local art scene. In 1970, he returned to Rome and began his career as a painter. He is known for his abstract works, which often feature geometric shapes and bold colors. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, and his work is held in numerous private and public collections.
