Parismita Singh is an Indian author, illustrator, graphic novelist, and educator. She is a founding member of the Pao Collective, and her work includes The Hotel at the End of the World, which was shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize and is one of the first graphic novels published in India. She is also the author and illustrator of the short story collection Peace Has Come. Singh was born in Assam, India and attended St. Stephen's College in Delhi. She is known for her graphic novels and short stories, which often explore themes of conflict and resilience in the Northeast region of India. Singh's work has been recognized with several awards, including the 2009 Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize shortlist. She is also a member of the Pao Collective, a group of artists and writers who collaborate on projects and events. Singh's work has been published in various magazines and newspapers, and she has also been a speaker at the Jaipur Literature Festival.
