Biography:

Eunyoung Park is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist born in Seoul, South Korea in 1975. She began her career as a painter and later expanded her focus to include video, sound, animation, installation, and video dance. Her work often involves collaborations with performing artists and technicians, exploring the intersection of media and the human body. Park's current projects center on the representation and exploration of the human body as a form and identity. She received her B.F.A. from Hongik University in 1997, her M.F.A. from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2001, and her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2007. Her thesis, titled 'VIDEO VARIÉTÉS - Cendres liquides', received the highest honor from the jury. Park has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in South Korea and internationally.
