Paul Van Hoeydonck is a Belgian artist, best known for his sculpture 'Fallen Astronaut' which was placed on the Moon by the crew of Apollo 15. He also created the artwork '16 X Icarus', a series of flying dolls made of plaster and bronze suspended from the ceiling at Comte de Flandre metro station in Brussels. Van Hoeydonck has worked with various mediums, including aluminum, granite, and plaster. His style is not well-documented, but his work often explores themes related to space exploration and human flight.
