Biography:

Paula Ahronson was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1908. She studied applied arts at the Landeskunst-Schule für Kunstgewerbe in Hamburg under Friedrich Adler until 1928. In June 1933, she immigrated to Palestine and met Eva Samuel during a trip. Paula married Rudi Ahronson in 1934 and moved to Rishon le-Zion, where she began collaborating with Eva Samuel. She gave birth to three sons and worked on ceramics apprenticeship at the WIZO vocational high school from 1960. Paula ran her own studio from 1962 to 1971.
