Peithinos, also known as Peithinos the Sicyonian, was a Greek vase painter from Sicyon who worked in Athens in the second quarter of the 5th century BC. He was one of the leading artists of the red-figure style, and is known for his elegant and refined figures, as well as his innovative compositions. Peithinos was particularly skilled at depicting mythological scenes, and his work is characterized by a sense of movement and energy. He died in Athens around 470 BC.
