Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist and actor. He was born on November 5, 1947 in Davyhulme, England. He is best known as the lead singer 'Herman' in the 1960s pop group Herman's Hermits. In 2019, Noone won the 'Entertainer of the Year' award at the Casino Entertainment Awards in Las Vegas. He was trained as a theatre actor and first came to public prominence as a television sitcom actor, game-show panellist and television presenter of ITV light entertainment shows such as Game for a Laugh, You Bet! and Stars in Their Eyes. In the 2000s, he returned to acting, appearing in several West End productions and playing television roles.
