Biography:

Filipe Hodart, also known as Philippe Hodart or Odart, was a French sculptor who was active in Spain and Portugal during the 16th century. He was born in France around 1490 and is known for his work in terracotta, including a set of statues depicting the Last Supper. This work is considered one of the most impressive sculptural works of the European Renaissance and is on display at the Museu Nacional de Machado de Castro in Coimbra, Portugal. Hodart's work is also featured in the Google Arts & Culture collection. Despite his contributions to the world of art, not much is known about his life, including the exact dates and places of his birth and death.
