Biography:
Pintu Nanda, also known as Pintu Das, was an Indian film and television actor from Odisha. He was born on 7 July 1977 in Jagatsinghpur, India. He started his career through an Odia daily soap on DD Odia and made his film debut in 1996 with the Odia movie Koili. He appeared in over 115 Odia movies in various roles as hero, villain, character artist, and comedian. Some of his popular films include Dosti, Hata Dhari Chalu Tha, Rumku Jhumana, and Wrong Number. Apart from TV and movies, he appeared in some popular Odia album songs. He was also a BJP leader. Pintu Nanda died on 1 March 2023 at the age of 45 due to cirrhosis of the liver.
