Biography:

Rai Kuniyuki was a Japanese swordsmith born in Kyoto, Japan in 1219. He was the founder of the Rai school of swordsmiths in Kyoto, which produced swords in the Bizen tradition during the feudal period of Japan. He died in 1298.
