Biography:

Raluca Jurcovan is a Romanian artist born in Bucharest in 1983. She studied law and film directing before discovering her passion for traditional Romanian art. She is known for her work with icons on glass and stained glass, as well as her textile creations. Her work has been exhibited in several museums in Romania, including the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant and the Museum of the Romanian Peasant. She is also a teacher and has given workshops on traditional Romanian art techniques.
