Ramenghi Bartolomeo detto Bagnacavallo was an Italian painter and engraver born in Bologna around 1484 and died around 1542. He was a pupil of Lorenzo Costa, but his style was influenced by Raphael and Giulio Romano. He is known for his mythological and religious paintings, as well as his engravings. His most famous work is the 'Adorazione dei pastori'.
