Raoul Monsengo, also known as Raoul D. Monsengo, was born in 1938 in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. He was a Congolese painter and sculptor, known for his contributions to the Congo School of Painting. Monsengo's work often depicted scenes of everyday life in the Congo, as well as political and social issues. He was a prominent figure in the Congolese art scene and exhibited his work both nationally and internationally. Monsengo passed away in 2013.
