Biography:
Roberto Della Croce was born in La Plata, Argentina in 1901 and died in the same city in 1977. He was an Argentine artist known for his paintings. He studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata and graduated as a Professor of Drawing in 1924. He is considered one of the most important Argentine painters of the 20th century. His work is characterized by the use of bright colors and the representation of landscapes and figures. He has exhibited his work in various galleries and museums in Argentina and abroad. He is buried in the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, Italy.
