Biography:

Roberto Domingo Fallola was born in Paris in 1883 and died in Madrid in 1956. He was a Spanish painter, son and disciple of Francisco Domingo Marqués, a leading figure in the Spanish art colony in Paris. He spent most of his childhood and youth in the city of Seine, where he began his artistic training with his father. He specialized in costumbrista and taurine themes, which gave him great fame and prestige. He is known for his bullfighting scenes, landscapes, genre and animal paintings, drawings. He was influenced by Goya and his father, and his work is part of the collection of the Prado Museum in Madrid.
