Rodrigo Bivar de Vasconcelos, known as Rodrigo Bivar, was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1965. He is a Portuguese painter and sculptor, known for his abstract and figurative works. Bivar studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, where he developed his skills in painting, drawing, and sculpture. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, including in Spain, France, and the United States. Bivar's work is characterized by its vibrant colors, bold brushstrokes, and dynamic compositions. He often explores themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time in his paintings and sculptures. Bivar's art is held in private collections and public institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in Lisbon and the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum in Portugal.
